so tunis has now come to an end. it has been an awesome experience. about an hour ago, i walked down this side street, situated just outside the conference, just to get some fresh air and see what was actually going on outside.

i walked for no more than 5 minutes and stumbled upon the first call box centre i have seen during this entire trip. i called home as i had promised my ma i would. okay granted it was about 7 days late. but hey it cost 2 dinars and it actually worked. we are supposed to leave for the hotel to pack in about half an hour. cas is off somewhere 'seeing tunis'. and the we are off back to the aiport. one day i would like to come back, minus the commitment of work and just be.

so tunis-rome-addis- joburg-pe, here i come. i may feel like a grouchy bear at the end of it all. but i am looking forward to going back to grey rose and my family there.
