things have reached hectic proportions here in g'town. especially for a durban girl like myself. the notion of literally running into bed only for the pleasures of my electric blanket, has never been something i have done in the past. then again us durban girls are quite resourceful and desperate cold times means going out and getting electric blankets. now the reason for all this drama was that friday brought with it a bitterly cold weekend... with us being this close of stepping into the minus-es.
now back home, it has become a tradition for sunday afternoons to be filled with visits to partie's house for the usual sunday afternoon tea. i've missed these... so today i hooked up some tea and bajias. what's better than hot tea and even hotter bajias on an insanely freezing day. it was super rocking and it made me feel warm home for a time.

today i dislike: the insanity of the cold and weekends being over
