goodbye jakjak

listenin to: rmr

apologies for the no blog, i know it has been a while. home was great-the cricket less so but being at the ground again was superb as always. since then i have occupied my days with 2 things, work and packing. i work by day and pack by night. it seems like a never ending task-to pack. and there are constantly things that i discover i have forgotten, so i slip it into some anonymous box or other. thus increasing the non sensical randomness of the boxes. anyway, i am almost done and soon i will be unpacking the goodies over there in ct.

otherwise the whole event of saying goodbye to friends who have essentially become family is really very bad. if i had my way i would just slip out of town and get on with things. but that's something you really can't do when you've been in a place for seven years. bad manners and all that. but i can completely say-it really is one of the saddest things i've had to do. i backed up, cleaned out and gave jakjak back today- and so starts the heavy heart.

today i like: beautiful weather
today i dislike: giving jakjak away
