go india!

listenin to: some kind of house

back in ct. the break at home was completely great-it really felt like i was occupying a small piece of heaven-i ate, slept and watched cricket with levs, live at kingsmead, india vs. sa. you had to be there to know how awesome it was to watch my boys play live. i truly must have been born under some kind of lucky star to be able to sit back and watch sachin tendulkar bat-and that is just one of the highlights. the find of the tour has undoutedly been shreesanth. our new fiesty and fiery opening bowler has shaken up what has at time been a rather passion lacking indian team. for all the talent welled up within the collective indian bones, it seemed we at time lacked the voomah-well we have some now and it feels great. as per usual we have had our extraordinary mistakes, non existent batting orders and our bowler's inability to wrap up sa's tail. but i think the positives have outweighed these and we walk away a little stronger than when we got here.

the game is on now, with the series drawn at 1-1. rahul came in and cameo batted like a man posessed yesterday. he has admittedly not had the best series, but there is an intensity and hunger about him at the moment. i can almost taste some kind of victory for us here at newlands. but should this remain the lasting taste, only time will tell.

today i like: beautiful cricket
today i dislike: not being able to watch the game and being a bit home sick
