why the drama

listenin to: buddha bar

i have become an inconsistent blogger since my move to ct. v bad. i am going to use the whole quality versus quantity argument in my defence. being in super follow cricket mode, i have been watching and reading about the latest sa cricket incident, that of herschelle gibbs and his comments caught by the stump microphone. pity that the dude who was supposed to make sure it was turned off between deliveries was asleep at that time. one of the first things i thought was, what must his own muslim team mate think-let alone the opposition. interesting. another point to note is that spectators do behave very badly at times. throwing verbal abuse at players and hurling insults is not deserved particularly when you scream it at the top of your lungs for all of sundry to hear. now that harris has been brought into the picture with his supposed bad reactions to fans at the sidelines, it has darkened an already blown out of proportion picture. it must be said, that it is tough-you go out to play for your country, you give it your best most of the time and even when you are completely flat, you must grin and bear the abuse hurled at you as you walk off the field after being bowled out.

still, swearing and rudely gesturing back is not perhaps the best way to handle things. will the race card ever be exempt from this sa cricket team, be it within selection debates or off the field issues. it is such a tiring issue. sa cricket has become so annoying with these issues. and so i'd rather not bother about them especially when cricket should not involve such petty prejudices.

today i like: designing
today i dislike: being in an office when i'd rather be on the beach
