so in the midst of all the madness, let's do this thing. things have been good, bad and ugly. a major point today was just how ungrateful and disgustingly so, delegates are at this conference. give me free stuff and please give me more. so that's the niggling grupe for the day. another running trend at the conference has been our inability to converse with the French speaking journalists. In a sense it has really made me feel like South Africa is like a little US, that just does not care about broadening our horizons. We seem to exist in this little bubble. And that is just not on. So maybe I should actually be the one to learn some French and avoid joining the very boring masses. Actually put away that maybe... I definitely should.
