this has definitely been one of the most veg weekends i've had in a while. i actually cannot even remember when last i did not want to even check my mail- rok on! i do not even want to see the outlook express icon staring at me. ah... i am liking this feeling.
this pic was taken on the trip which will go as an almost definite number one, for my trip of the year. there are no mega adventures or breaking stories to report from that specific trip. just small, forgotten luxuries which we seem to lose in the day to day runnings of life. like... writing with no place to be, driving for hours, only remembering half way into the afternoon to check the time, a warm fire, roaring laughter and a feeling that i just can't quite put my finger on. mmmm... it was really superb.
a friend recently told me that he had been taking stock of this past year of 2005. and i suppose we all tend to do that as we near the end of something and stand at the beginning of another such thing. 2005 was undeniably a treaure chest of new findings, changes and best of all... new people. and not just ordinary people, but those who have affected me... just as i thought i had it all under control.
