cool, calm and collected

listenin to: mariah carey
workin on: ha stuff

so one of my most favourite things to do has been to follow cricket and all things cricket related. interesting newsworthy pieces for today have been justin kemp's worthy performance to beat australia and the steadiness of india's opening batting duo under some highly tense conditions (i was very worried). i also came across a very interesting piece about the bids for 2011 world cup. latest news is that india and pakistan are joint bidding to host the event. other bidders include uae, usa and australia. the latter nation has decided to step down in favour of the sport generating much more income from the world cup being hosted in the subcontinent. the usa bid is about as absurd as thinking bafana bafana should qualify for this year's soccer world cup. so logically, go india! oh and pakistan too.

it definitely seems like the teams embrace the age old rivalry on the field and ditch unnecesary biting off the pitch. but there still is nothing quite as sore as losing to the pakistanis. that i will admit. but if dravid's bold moves to open the batting are anything to go by, then india are armed with enough boldness and courageness to at least take this first test to a draw.

today i like: seeing bela report on e-news
today i dislike: unfinished business
