listenin to: quiet morning buzz in the newsroom
we are now on production day 8 of cue 2006. i lay in bed this morning unsure about what day it really was-because of the way our production cycle. what with working a day ahead and then thinking of 2days ahead-one never quite works in real time... if you know what i mean. anyways, last night i went along with clayton to watch coupe. envisioned and starring sylvainne strike, this main stage production was exceptionally true to the writer's signature style and proved to be very very good. the cleverly built set was exquisite. one of the best things about coupe was how true the characters were, so much so that they became good ol fashioned people. so much more can be said about this train carriage and its nuances... but i will stop there. if you see the words coupe on a stage door near you, go and watch it.
on a more dramatic note... the cue newsroom is sick. we all live, eat, breathe and cough into the same air conditioned space. and slowly but surely we are all infecting each other with whatever it was that someone walked into the room with, on that first cue day. rather gross hey.
today i like: going to check out some great exhibitions
today i dislike: the joints on my right leg are blooming sore today... it feels like an old woman
