listenin to: hana newsroom banter
we find ourselves plut in the middle of this year's conference at the moment. it began yesterday and it will end tomorrow. there is lots still left to do, plenty that we have already planned and tackled, many hiccups and last minute situations- but i think we can survive this one too. i will admit that there was more situations this year, when i found myself unable to think coherently about what the solutions need to be. overwhelmed and exhausted are 2 words that come to find about where i find myself at the moment but hey if it doesn't kill you it will make you stronger.
apart from the bad and the ugly, the awesome aspect of the conference has been seeing old friends again, particularly our old hana journalists. you instantly remember all sorts of situations only journalists can find themselves in, from times we have worked in all sorts of crazy and difficult situations together. and you know, what was unbelievably insane at the time, is now completely humorous.
soon i will be off. thank goodness. portugal and spain here i come. a friend of mine said i should not catch a tan there because then i'd come back and be completely unmarriagable. lol. so what's the problem?
today i like: hiding from the madness
today i dislike: gosh i must sleep
