12 billion- that's the recent figure of costs estimated for 2010. quite quite hectic. and this is bound to go up further. quite scary. i'm actually looking forward to post 2010, when all the tourists leave and we're left to live within the revamped infrastructure. back on air again this weekend, i'm looking forwrad to that- been out of it for 4 weeks. far too long, so the withdrawal symptoms are there for sure.
the sunshine has disappeared today. it has been replaced by a big gray raincoat of a sky, gloomy snippets of rain are wafting down. blah! i was enjoying the warm screens of sun yesterday. anyway i'm convinced this will return by the weekend. although it is a well known fact that diwali evening always beings some showers-in durban at least-just as the clay lamps come out to light up the streets.
today i like: heater at my feet
today i dislike: lets go home for diwali!
