i was so exhausted from yesterday's win that i collapsed into bed like a child who had been bouncing off the walls all day. it is a well known fact that us indian suppourters do nothing in half measures and feel it all in extremes. so the win yesterday, shifted us into fifth gear in a major way. one of the best things about the win was that we didn't win because another team had merely lost. we beat south africa at their own game, on pitches specifically requested by the opposition and on the back of 4 one-day losses. some may say, well all you really did was win 1 test match. true. but not quite. it feels like a million bucks! like we have found the rope out of the quick sand.

i'm so looking forward to walking into kingsmead with a massive grin on my face and my flag flying high. whatever happens there, our spirits are so high, i'm not sure we can float down to ground level anytime soon. again i say, open invitation to anyone who wants to join the week of celebrations as of saturday, were feeling like champions. but please come in blue.
