I really am beginning to sound like a broken record, yes let me be the first one to admit it. I proclaim hope about a win and then post a post very much like this one about why we lost. This time there really is one main point, we gave the game away like fools. With that said, there are some pros to be taken away:
- it was a fantastic idea to bring shreesanth on this tour. We can confidently take him to the world cup with a mountain of confidence. Apart from his bowling, he brings some desperate hunger, passion and dedication to the team.
- khan is back with an air of consistency and is a reliable opening bowl
- we have solved the non existent specialist wicket keeper dilemma. Dhoni has developed exceptionally with the gloves and has cameod some nice innings even if he needs to adapt his game at times to prevent a mere blitz and out performance
- ganguly is a different man-I like this new, less brashly so, confident player

The downers:
- we have a batting line up that looks exceptional on paper and yet crumbles innings after innings
- sehwag needs a break, even away from ranji trophy. He needs to disappear and go far far away
- dravid had a shocking tour. He needs to overcome and find a balance between the stress of being india’s captain and sustaining his own usually steadfast batting ability.
- the team is not fit. Which leads to our fielding being disastrous. We will collapse in the heavy west Indian conditions if we do not shape up and develop an intensity in fielding.
- we did not use conditions to our advantage, to capitalise and claim wins. The inability to wrap up the tail and then seal a match, proved to be very sad
