at the end of a tuesday

listenin to: 5fm

so i have taken up french this year. and it really is great to be sitting in lectures again. once more the old theory of retrospect has proved true- because now i see how much i didn't fully appreciate my studying years. and that statement has made me older by 6.9 years instantly. i dont know it just feels different now and i actually look forward to my lectures. i can feel the brain kicking into gear though and it is a nice feeling.

on the cricket front i want to talk about the arrival of the australians into the country. they have now come to our soil to see if we can salvage some national pride and show them whos boss. but the last thing everyone seems to be talking about is indeed the cricket. that nasty issue of "race" has taken centre stage. i dont see the point. there really would be little point in us as south africans giving the australians a taste of what happened there not so long ago. that kind of action would most certainly be in the same light as the global reaction to these infamous cartoons- poor.

on other fronts... i realise the time has come to move on. no bridge burning, nothing drastic but maybe some new routes and pathways to new adventures.
